Keynote: Chemical Meteorology researcher Kevin Noone
Kevin Noone is active in conveying science to stakeholders and the general public. He works with communities, corporations, NGOs, military and security agencies, faith-based groups and other stakeholders in the area of sustainability.
Kevin Noone’s primary research interests are in the area of global sustainability, Earth System science, the effects of aerosols and clouds on climate, and atmospheric chemistry & physics. He is an advocate of using holistic approaches to obtaining a solid scientific basis for decisions on environmental and climate issue.
Kevin Noone is Professor of Chemical Meteorology at the Department of Environmental Science and Analytical Chemistry (ACES) at Stockholm University. He has a background in Chemical Engineering, Civil and Environmental Engineering, Oceanography, Meteorology, and Atmospheric Physics. After receiving his PhD degree from the University of Washington, he has been on the faculty at both Stockholm University in Sweden and the University of Rhode Island in the U.S.
