Lotta Andersson, Expert, Swedish Meteorological Institute- SMHI, Sweden

Lotta Anderson works as expert in Swedish Meteorological Institute. Lotta is Doctor of Philosophy in Water and Environmental Studies, Department of Water and Environmental Studies, Linköping University, Sweden, from 1989. Her main fields of research cover Catchment modelling of spatial and temporal variability of water flow and nutrients due to natural variability and human impact, with emphasis on the use of models as facilitators in stakeholder dialogues (ranging from the super-local to the transboundary level). Besides having significant roles in many research projects, she was responsible for stakeholder dialogues related to development of a transboundary climate adaptation strategy in “Baltadapt” in 2011-2013. Lotta Anderson serves since 2012, as Swedish contact person for Focal point 5 (To mitigate and adapt to climate change) in the Baltic Sea Region Strategy.
